Dr. Aaron Theriot
(pronounced TAIR-ee-oh, or "The Riot")
Aaron Theriot attended kindergarten in Seaside, Oregon, but family illness brought his parents back to their home in Louisiana where all of his relatives are from. He graduated from South Terrebonne High School and then joined the navy as a third-generation U.S. Sailor. As an aviation petty officer aboard the USS Constellation, Aaron served in Operation Southern Watch and Operation Deny Flight. After an honorable discharge, he returned to Louisiana and started both a family and nursing school, graduating with a BSN (Bachelors of Science in Nursing) and practicing for 12 years. Ultimately, that experience led him to Cleveland University in Kansas, where he received his doctorate in Chiropractic. Dr. Theriot then served for seven years as a chiropractor in Anacortes, Washington, before relocating to Northwestern Oregon, where his parents have resettled.
Katie Theriot
(pronounced TAIR-ee-oh)
Katie was born near the pristine beaches of California and graduated from Paso Robles High School. She then joined the Air Force, where she spent 12 years in the intelligence field (shhh...she still can't talk about it, LOL). Afterwards, she attended Oregon Culinary Institute (OCI) in Portland, Oregon, earning a Baking and Pastry Management degree. Later, she moved to Astoria with her mother, where she bought a lovely home in need of restoration. In 2024, she earned a Chiropractic Assistant certification in Portland, got married to a crazy Cajun, and opened up this amazing chiropractic clinic with her best friend.
A Labor of Love
Theriot Chiropractic is a modern clinic merging time-tested methods with the latest technology, but it is also a love story brought about by the unlikely union of these two soulmates. Arriving on the Oregon Coast from vastly different paths and vastly different backgrounds, Dr. Theriot and Katie met at a chiropractic clinic in Seaside. From there, it didn't take long before a relationship developed, which blossomed into romance, love, and eventually a beautiful beach wedding. Theriot Chiropractic is our labor of love; the opportunity to provide modern chiropractic care, work closer to home, and serve the community together. We could not be happier to start this journey with all of you!
